Acier Studio was founded in 2023 when we couldn't find a stainless steel coffee table with the quality we were looking for. What we came across often felt too lightweight - or simply lacked the refined finish that makes a piece last, both in function and expression. So we created our own. Together with family, we built a small studio rooted in local craftsmanship, where every piece is shaped, refined and handled by hand - again and again - to ensure uncompromising quality.
Our philosophy is simple.

We focus on premium materials
We work with stainless steel for a reason. Because it doesn't age poorly, or ask to be replaced - but because it is made to last. It holds its shape, carries weight with ease, and offers a unique brushed finish that remains timeless. Unlike softer materials, stainless steel is built for daily use and for the years that follow. It is extremely resistant to corrosion, rust, and stains which makes it a perfect material to withstand the elements. We believe true quality is felt in the handcraft, the stability and the finish. When you choose Acier, you're not buying something for this season - you're choosing a piece designed to stay in your home for years.
Craftsmanship
High quality products don't happen overnight. Every piece is shaped, refined, and handled by hand, again and again, in our local workshop. We work in small quantities to ensure every edge, surface, and detail meets our standards. It costs more to do things properly. But we believe it's worth it - because quality is something you feel every day.
We keep things local
Our pieces are designed, handcrafted, and warehoused in our local workshop in Aarhus, Denmark. By producing in smaller volumes and working with trusted specialists, we keep quality close and support local hands and local communities. Acier Studio is built on craft, care, and the belief that doing things locally still matters.
Patina
Stainless steel needs little, yet gives much. Over time, small marks, fine scratches, and a natural patina will develop, not as flaws, but as signs of life. A piece that shows signs of use becomes personal. It gathers quiet character. With simple care, the surface stays clean and refined, while aging beautifully in its own way.
A soft cloth, water, and ph-neutral soap will keep the surface clean. After cleaning, the steel should be washed thoroughly to remove any soap left overs. Wipe gently in the direction of the grain with a dry cloth to prevent streaking. Your piece will preserve its calm, timeless shine for years.
