All standard orders can be returned within 14 days of receiving your order.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us no later than 14 days after delivery . Once you have notified us, you have 14 days to return the item(s) to us.
Before returning any item, please email us at kontakt@acier.dk and include:
- your order number
- the item(s) you wish to return
- confirmation that you wish to withdraw from your purchase
Acier Studio reserves the right to refuse returns shipped without a request.
You cannot withdraw from your purchase by refusing delivery or by not collecting the parcel.
All returned items must be:
- unused and in new condition
- returned in the original packaging
- returned with unused screws and rawlplugs (or other included accessories)
- returned with your order number (for example by including a copy of your order confirmation)
You may inspect the item as you would in a physical store. Any action beyond what is necessary to assess the item's nature, characteristics, and function may result in a reduced refund.
Items that show signs of use, wear, scratches, stains, or damage may be refused or may result in a reduced refund.
Returns are at the customer's expense.
You are responsible for ensuring that the return shipment is securely packed and arrives safely at our address. You bear the risk of the item(s) from the time of delivery until we have received the return.
We recommend using a tracked shipping method (Track & Trace) and keeping your shipping receipt.
Important: Return shipments must be sent with door-to-door delivery to our address. Returns delivered to parcel shops, parcel lockers, or pickup points will not be collected and will be returned to the sender.
If your order was delivered as a standard parcel, we can provide a GLS return label by email upon request. The cost of the return label will be deducted from your refund .
If your order was delivered on a pallet or requires freight shipping due to size/weight, you must arrange and cover the return shipment via a freight carrier (see section 6).
Some items may be too large or heavy to return as a standard parcel and may require freight shipping. If your order was delivered on a pallet, you must arrange and pay for return shipping via a freight carrier.
Custom-made or special orders cannot be returned.
This includes items made to order or produced in a one-off size or configuration that is not available on our webshop (for example a shelf made in a custom depth or length).
If a free gift was included with your order, the entire order (including the gift) must be returned.

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will process your refund. Please allow up to 7 days from the date we receive the returned item(s).
Refunds will be made to the original payment method , unless otherwise agreed.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned item(s), or until you provide documentation that the item(s) have been returned.
If you withdraw from your purchase, you will receive a refund of the amount paid.
We refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs, except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery option we offer.
If the value of the item has been reduced due to handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning, we may deduct the reduction in value from your refund.
We offer exchanges subject to availability .
If you would like to exchange an item, please contact us at kontakt@acier.dk and include your order number and the item you wish to exchange.
Please note:
- The item must meet our return conditions (unused, in original packaging, and returned in the same condition as received).
- Return shipping is at the customer's expense unless otherwise agreed.
- If the requested item is not available, we will offer a refund instead, in accordance with our refund policy.
Acier Studio offers a 2-year right to complain in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act. This applies to defects in materials and/or manufacturing.
The right to complain does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, incorrect handling, or lack of maintenance.
Our products are handmade and may have unique characteristics. Minor variations and small imperfections can occur as part of the craftsmanship and are not considered defects.
For best results and long-term durability, we recommend following our material care guide.
You must file a complaint within a reasonable time after discovering the defect. Complaints made within two months will always be considered timely.
If an item is damaged during transport, it must be reported immediately upon delivery (preferably within 24 hours) and include:
- your name and order number
- a description of the issue
- photos of the damage (and the packaging, if relevant)
If your claim is approved, we will offer a repair, replacement (same product, subject to availability), or another solution depending on the situation. The item must always be returned in proper packaging, and we recommend keeping the shipping receipt.
