1. Can I find ACIER STUDIO in physical stores?
Yes. You can find our products through our retailers both in Denmark and Germany.
2. Where are your products made?
All our products are designed and crafted by ACIER STUDIO in Denmark by our skilled craftsmen, with a strong focus on quality, precision and long-lasting design. We make all our products in-house.
3. Are screws and rawlplugs included?
Yes, we use stainless steel screws and universal rawplugs that are suitable for concrete, brick and drywall. Please note that the correct type depends on your wall construction. Please consider which type of wall you plan on mounting your shelf.
4. Are the shelves strong enough for everyday use?
Yes. Our shelves are made from solid stainless steel and designed to carry everyday objects such as books, ceramics and decorative items but can also be used for more heavy objects such as kitchen tools. Weight capacity depends on the wall type.
5. Why stainless steel and not a cheaper material like aluminium?
We work with stainless steel for a reason. Because it doesn't age poorly, or ask to be replaced - but because it is made to last. It holds its shape, carries weight with ease, and offers a unique brushed finish that remains timeless. Unlike softer materials, stainless steel is built for daily use, both indoors and outdoors and for the years that follow. It is extremely resistant to corrosion, rust, and stains which makes it a perfect material to withstand the elements. We believe true quality is felt in the handcraft, the stability and the finish. When you choose Acier, you're not buying something for this season - you're choosing a piece designed to stay in your home for years.
6. Are your products suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. Stainless steel is suitable for outdoor use. When placed outdoors, the material will naturally develop a refined patina over time.
7. How do I clean and maintain stainless steel?
Daily cleaning can be done with a soft cloth and clean water or ph-neutral soap. Make sure to wipe off with a clean cloth in the direction of the grain to avoid any strikes. Avoid harsh chemicals. For detailed instructions, please see our full care and maintenance guide.

10. What should I do if my order is damaged in transit?
Please note that our products are hand-made and therefore each possess unique characteristics. Small imperfections are often inherent to the natural materials we work with and are what makes each piece unique. However, if your item arrives damaged in anyway we urge you to reach out to us immediately. Please remember to take photos of the damaged package.

11. When will my order be shipped?
Your order will be shipped when its ready and in stock. Please note that we are a small workshop handcrafting all our products. High quality usually takes a bit more time, but its worth the wait. You will be notified by email once your order has been shipped.
12. Which countries do you ship to?
We ship to most countries. If you cannot check out due to shipping limitations, please feel free to contact us at kontakt@acier.dk and we will do our best to arrange shipping to you.
13. I am a B2B customer. How do I get an invoice for my order?
Please contact us at kontakt@acier.dk and we will provide invoicing. If you are a B2B customer who requires invoicing and ex VAT pricing, you must contact us before making a purchase on the webshop. We are unable to provide VAT-exempt pricing and formal invoicing after the order has been placed.
14. What is your return, refund, and exchange policy?

15. How are duties and taxes calculated? Which countries can expect to pay customs?
For orders outside the EU, you may be charged VAT, import duties, and/or taxes upon receipt of your package, which are levied by customs. Acier Studio ships your package according to Incoterm Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). This means that we do not collect VAT, duties and/or taxes, and we cannot predict what your particular charges may be. If you incur any such additional charges, they must be returned in order for your package to clear customs.
ACIER STUDIO does not cover additional storage or shipping costs that may result from lack of custom clearance or duty/tax payment. Please contact your local customs office for more information.
